Roof is on (mostly), just in time for sustained rainfall we have been getting. The day after that the sprayfoam guys showed up and insulated the whole place. Of course they got stuck trying to turn around due to rain and I pulled them out with the tractor.

Chickens Started Laying!
Chickens finally started laying eggs. Looks like just the ISA Browns are laying so far. Small eggs, but well formed and delicious !
HQ-2 Project Kicking into High Gear
The project to re-furbish the gray house for use as my office has kicked into high gear. Love this contractor too, flexible and extremely detail oriented. I’m getting some idea of how much I don’t know about this stuff.

Ace is interested but not too sure about these large cows on the neighbors property.
Guineas Dominating Chickens
Guineas made a point of flying to the top of the chicken tractor and dropping a few poops on the chickens to let them know who is boss in the barnyard.

Naturally Growing Black Cohosh Discovered
We found this nice stand of black cohosh growing along one of our paths. This plant can be useful for women to relieve menopause symptoms among other things. Interesting facts here.

Orchard is going strong, hops are pushing up fast, wife is bringing in big harvests from the garden and its absolutely delicious.
